Possibly the funniest thing I’ve read on this site was a lady involved on some sort of review panel tasked with investigating him and his posting history having to translate what “PIIHB” meant to a room of professionals.

I had a HS buddy that got pretty bad off on drugs a few years after we graduated. He did a few years and I'd go visit him occasionally. He straightened his life up afterwards and is in his 40s now and married with 2 kids.

That is a pretty bad prison. They have a huge maximum security portion where they stab guards, and each other. They also have a smaller minimum security section. I am guessing that is where he landed.
He is probably making some good business contacts and can make a good living consulting once he rolls out.

So when they get out, the may communicate with their former inmates family they got to know during visitations or something but communication with inmates in former inmates could easily lead to them back in the big house.
