Until USSF is overhauled it won’t matter

We should give Pep a call while we are at it.
Didn't he, like legit, say he'd be interested in doing it one day?
Yep: here's an article about it

If Jose doesnt get the offers he wants this summer, a quick shift to get the US qualified and coach in a WC seems like it would be very appealing to him.
He would be a god over here if he gets the guys to play. Hes the perfect natty manager. His motivational schtick wont wear off as fast.
Other than that, just go get a pragmatic dude that has some trophies. Would be an upgrade.

I don’t know how many realistic choices there are at this point. Who would want to take over this dumpster fire?

we would get laughed at during that bidding war
RB scouted him from start and have groomed him from the ground up.
Yep I have 0 confidence in him ever coaching the USMNT

He still has stops in Italy & France, on his international greatness tour, before he takes on a national team I think.

Ideal targets maybe old heads like Jose Pekerman or Arsene Wenger, or a young up and comer that wants to make a name for themselves.
Laurent Blanc would be interesting as well. Hopefully, whoever does the hiring know what they're looking for/need in a manager for this US talent pool.
Massimo Carrera is another intriguing name to keep an eye on.

Anyone else. Klinsman again. Big Game Bob. The U-12 girls coach from my Y. No one could be worse than Berhalter.
