Was that dollar store just now, and noticed several copies of Megyn Kelly's book "Settle For More"

I'm not meaning to imply that she's by any means poor. I'm meaning to imply that there was so little interest in her book that it's being sold at the dollar store. She no longer has a job. Tell me how that's not a fall from grace?

If the books are at the dollar store then those have still already been sold. Probably at full price to a store then that store sold them at a discount because they weren't moving off that particular stores shelves. She isn't getting a cut from the dollar store.
Business stupid is why you are shopping at the dollar store... BTW you aren't getting many if any discounts. You are getting chinese ripoffs or paying a dollar for a can of vienna sausages instead of 50 cents from walmart. But hey its cheap because it says a dollar.

First of all, while many books' first editions are sold on pre-order, if a book is popular, there are subsequent orders by said retailers, usually in far greater amounts. The only money she made on that book was on her advance, and a pittance on the small amount that were sold to retailers. The retailers had to eat the first edition, and that's why they dumped them at the dollar store. Just goes to prove my point that she is no longer a popular item.
Also, since I'm obviously poor in buying cheap Chinese crap, please tell me where I can buy birthday cards in bulk for less than $.50 a piece... we have hundreds of clients and we make sure that they receive a card on their birthday. I'm sure they don't know or care if they come from the dollar store.
But by all means, continue with your mightier than thou bull$hit.
