Than CBS.

Fowler is an excellent play by play guy. You could feel his excitement.

And kirk has been high on us all year and was completely neutral throughout while still praising each team.

Commercials were way less , and it showed. Rarely were drives interrupted.

Ive been spoiled this year not having to listen to Gary Danielson form a thought out of word vomit.

That was a hell of a game. The fans, the announcers, the broadcast.

Man that was nice .

The game actually flowed like a football game is supposed to flow. Imagine that!

Herbstreit's suit was offensive to anyone with taste.

Fowler is a top notch play by play guy. Head and shoulders better than the SEC network guys.

It really was great. And the commercial thing cannot be overstated.

Dude yeah. At one point danielson said "this drive is the ballgame" in the 2nd quarter of them playing Bama.

Sucks that Auburn is going to bring us back to lesser commentary.

One gripe was you couldn’t hear the band.

I've yet to see a good explanation as to why the conference cannot dictate to CBS that they don't get to pull the commercial break shite they pull during broadcasts. Watching a game there is close to unbearable with the way they break it up.

People who argue money/economics, don't understand money/economics. It's the conference who holds the upper-hand on that.

CBS pays a frick TON of money for the rights to do that.

Money talks.

ESPN tried a different model for commercials

They opted to run longer breaks but have less of them.

This was also ESPN's FIRST 100% 4K broadcast of a CFB game

I don't remember who was broadcasting the Texas game, but I recall the sound was awful. I couldn't hear the announcer over the crowd noise. The Florida game was much better, and Herbstreit is actually pretty good as a color commentator.
