He has a strong chance of pulling this off if he can turnout his voters in Orleans, Jefferson, and EBR. Scalise needs to get involved and ensure Edwards doesn't carry Jefferson Parish.

Trump needs to visit either Jefferson or St Tammany in addition to Shreveport or Monroe.

Having Pence blitz north LA and Lake Charles would also be a good idea.

I think he is cooked. He is not going to swing that much of the vote.

Trump needs to visit Monroe, Shreveport, and Alexandria.

If Abraham voters show up for the runoff, JBE is fricked.

He already got his base and most of the undecideds that were going to break his way and still got under 47%. He better hope for a snowstorm during election day.

Very true, but there's not much else on the ballot other than some runoffs and that's typically not going to get asses in the voting booths

And I'm not confident that they will. Hope I'm wrong.

You are wrong. Abraham will be out there campaigning with Rispone...what else do Abraham voters need?

Don't underestimate the Edwards clan in getting out the vote. They have a machine in Tangi that keep the den of snakes elected. I wouldn't be surprised JBE reaches into that to get people in those parishes voting for him.

I'm not from Louisiana so please don't hate on me for saying it...

But I still have no clue how JBE got into office in such a red state.

And that said, I'll now bash my state since I live in Oklahoma. Going red isn't always better than electing a true moderate Democrat. We put Mary Fallin in for a second term that she absolutely tanked.

Shame on us.

That's just how bad Jindal was. People didn't want another republican and Vitter was a terrible choice.

JBE got in on the perfect storm of GOP infighting, staying under the radar, and not cheating on his wife.
