Print out a sample ballot and read-up on them before you go.

If you need an internet forum to tell you how to vote...just stay home.

Vote no on 4 please. I support enough people in this parish. I don't need to subsidize slum lords on top of everything else.

I disagree. You have people here you trust on issues. More importantly, people you know are wrong about everything. As soon as they weigh in and tell you somebody is a racistsexisthomophobe you know to vote the other way.

I humbly ask that you vote yes to #3 regarding the tax court. It will allow for a more efficient system for tax appeals and the right to appeal from tax board to district court will remain.

Non-bias pat guide to the amendments
1- yes, anything to help bring and keep O&G money in this state.

2- whatever

3- whatever

4-frick no. No more government handouts for slum lords. No more temporary housing and rental properties in otherwise nice communities

Disagree. This is the problem we have today.

People dont take the time to know the issues or candidates and vote their opinions and beliefs. They just follow the rest of the flock.

Be an adult and take it serious and vote your opinion.

It's your vote....not the groups vote.

Went yes no yes no

I usually vote all no on these but we need the oil and gas industry and pissing them off for a short term cash grab seems idiotic

If you don't understand them. Learn what the issues are and don't guess at it. You could accidently be putting a nail in your own coffin. The amendments are written in lawyer-speak for a purpose.

That’s a great link. Thank you!!

After reading that, I’m voting like this:

1. Yes
2. No
3. No
4. Hell no!

The LAST thing NOLA needs is more “affordable housing” and I’m damn sure not going to give it to them in the form of additional property tax exemptions AND allow the city to determine what the definition of “affordable” is.

Ballot choice constitutional amendments for pet issues that 80%+ of the voting public could never possibly understand are a bigger issue.

That being said, I went yes, no, no, no.
