This shite is what college is all about. My student days coincided with the Sugar win over ND, the 07 natty, and the two years after.

Unfortunately, I am stuck here working an event tomorrow. I’ll be watching the game on my phone. I get to do the same thing next week.

I’d do damn near anything (except quit my job, lol) to be there tomorrow.

To you students: someday you will be doing similar shite. You may be moved away, working, meeting up with in-laws, etc. Tomorrow night, bring the noise. I’m super jealous I can’t be there. This season is setting up to be special. It’s your time to make TS Deaf Valley once again. Enjoy this, because it doesn’t get much better.

Indeed ! I have preached this to my freshman. Out of State, and getting to experience the greatest pinnacle in college football !! It is an experience only a few (thousand) in the country get to be apart of.

I lived in Broussard Hall four semesters starting in the fall of ‘95.

Student tickets were about $4 a game if I remember correctly.

Kevin Faulk lived in 101.

Bring Back the Magic was the upward trend and we were pumped.

This, right now, is light speed ahead of those days

Feels good.

Yep. I arrived at LSU in 1991 and, as an LSU student, didn't get to experience a winning season.

Be grateful.

The best games of my student career were SCar 12 and OM 2014

My god if we had thrown it one more time in 2012... they couldn’t stop Beckham and Landry.

if you don't want them to leave early then you have to stop giving sororities spots It's fine if girls leave across the student section.. but those MASSIVE gaps are in large part due to the school giving a large group of people who couldn't care less about LSU football other than to get a selfie in the first quarter.

2011 Home Games were incredible. Watching our Tigers maul some of the best teams in the country one after another was truly incredible. I choose to remember the best parts of that season and forget the way it ended though

Student here, I will be enjoying every single moment I get this weekend. Sober or hammered I still appreciate the opportunity I have to be in the greatest atmosphere college football has to offer.

This ×100

As someone who attended LSU 2003-2007, I can say everything above is true.

Enjoy it and make the most of your experience tomorrow. You'll be recalling it for the rest of your life.

2014 Ole Piss was quite the experience. Majority of the way through a miserable disappointing season and we get to play spoiler and upset the #3 team and ruin their season. That’s the only game I can remember that we’ve been the spoiler. It was actually a great feeling, and punctuated by storming the field under the lights and partying on the field. I got pictures with Rueben Randle and ate the grass

The general public is one thing. When the supposed heart and soul of your colleagues student section up and leaves in droves leaving it damn near empty while the players approach the student section after the game to sing the Alma Mater, it is an abomination. Find out who leaves consistently early and they just don’t get tickets. Being students of the school, LSU should have a damn say into who is going to receive tickets to represent the university and support the team the most. You leave and you’re out.

I attended LSU from 1972-1976 and the most memorable game I attended as a student was my Freshman year, 1972, when LSU beat Ole Miss with a Bert Jones touchdown pass as time expired. NO ONE left early that night. In fact 10 min after the game was over everyone was still standing there, cheering and soaking it all in.

In those days, there weren't any student tickets. You just showed your student ID at the gate.

As a student I definitely will, but everyone needs to enjoy this one.

LSU is at the top of CFB. It will not always be like this. One day we will fall off again.

WE ALL ENJOY THIS ASSKICKING.

Great advice, wanted to bump this... To anyone attending the game today. YOU ARE ON THE FRONT LINE OF BATTLE !!!!! yell until u lose your voice. Clap until it hurts. It does make a difference and it makes Tiger Stadium unlike any other venue I've ever seen. Be the difference. Gators deserve an arse whoopin, lets geaux give out some medicine. 44-13

I grew up going to games with my parents and my dad, was 9 years old at the earthquake game. My reason for choosing LSU as my college was that I couldn’t imagine anywhere else I wanted to be on a fall Saturday night than Tiger Stadium. And it is still my favorite place on the planet. See ya tonight men at the battlefield
