He was one of the original anchors that actually reported news.

I'm going to get downvoted to hell and I know that but I'd like to try to help. For all you Fox News viewers, the world isn't that bad, you don't need to hate everyone that is different than you, you don't need to blame all of your problems on someone else. You live in a very negative world and you don't have to. I'm sure you all hate me but if you would just abandon Fox News and everything else that falls under the Fox News umbrella your lives would be so much better.

He was an anchor and a news reporter. Seldom was he editorializing. If he was he would have had a prime time slot. He new his place and contrary to a lot of Fox News fans was a professional about it.
I suspect he will write a book prior to coming back to television. His deal with Fox doesn’t allow it for a period.
