Are rifle questions a no-no after google blacklisting TD?

Just curious.
The .50 bmg on deer thread was downvoted with some folks memeing “stop”.
I asked a .223/keltec su16 question and no one answered it. But I will admit it may not be interesting enough to comment on and nobody cares to respond.

Absolutely and my feelings aren’t hurt about it.
Just looking at what is a gif ive never seen with the deer. I see guys with the “Jonah cut it” response.
Also on the poli board there have been some posts about td being on a blacklist. I don’t know if it’s true but I didn’t know if OB and poli guys were straying away from gun threads for the time being.

Don't know about the poli board guys but that topic is not verboten here. Most welcome in fact. I mean we've got a 700+ page thread on AR-15s.

I think the .50 BMG thread was being downvoted because the dude shooting a deer in the head at long range shouldn't be celebrated. If he really did miss it shows he shouldn't have been attempting the shot to begin with. In my short time here it appears that a lot of the folks on this board respect the animals they hunt, which is a good thing.

so no, I don't think gun questions are a no-go. Can't speak for all posters, but I usually don't answer if I have nothing to offer in real advice. But enjoy reading everyone else's responses b/c you could always learn something.
