Advice on leaving stadium

I’m flying down Saturday morning for the game and just curious if there is any advice for how to get out of the parking lot in a reasonable time? Is there anywhere that’s a further walk but allows you to avoid traffic out? Any advice appreciated. Last year leaving the Bama game was hell with how they were directing traffic.

Lol that’s not happening. So basically no way out without sitting? That’s fine I was just curious if there were any tips.

Just be prepared to be in traffic for a while. Comes with the atmosphere of the big game. Just sit back and enjoy the victory in traffic.

Leave at halftime
It won't be as drastic but this will still happen with some people who purposely go to games knowing they're leaving at half no matter what.

Just fire up the tailgate back up after the game and drink a few cold ones while you wait for traffic to die off

Where are you headed after the game will depend on where to park

Nope, just put on 98.1 and enjoy the call in show

If you aren't flying out at 11 pm, why does it matter?

Park in Tigerland and walk the 1/2-3/4 mile. You beat all the parking lot traffic near the stadium when leaving the game

I have the perfect spot but space is limited so I ain't sayin', what's your hurry? ain't gonna be any flights out of BTR after the game unless you're coming in your G-6, and even if so, then what's your hurry?

My advice on leaving the stadium is to physically exit the stadium once you’re ready to go.

Go grab a beer at one of the bars near campus and wait an hour or two.
Campus going to be packed

Try leaving during the band's pregame performance. You will beat most of the traffic. If you wait until the kickoff you are too late.

Or pull the tailgate chairs out again and drink a few "victory beers" watching the late games/highlights

Just take your helicopter from the airport to campus and back

Just be patient. It's all part of getting to enjoy the best atmosphere in college football!!

The problem is campus is bordered by one of the worlds largest rivers, eliminating an entire direction of travel. You’re going to sit even if you park downtown.

Park out by the law school.
A long and enjoyable walk through campus and after the game you’re on the interstate in about 5-10 minutes.
If you stay the whole game it won’t matter where you park. It’ll be 34-14 late in the 3rd quarter and the stadium will start to empty.
