Whistleblower memo of Ukraine call, saying WH official called it 'crazy' 'frightening'

EXCLUSIVE – Immediately after learning secondhand information from a White House official about President Trump’s July 25 phone call with the president of Ukraine, the first whistleblower wrote a dramatic personal memo, saying the White House official characterized the call as “crazy” and “frightening,” Fox News has learned.
In the two-page, single-spaced memo on July 26, the day after the Trump-Zelensky phone call, the whistleblower wrote: “The following is a record of a conversation I had this afternoon with a White House official about the telephone call yesterday morning between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.”
The whistleblower wrote that the conversation with the unnamed White House official “only lasted a few minutes, and as a result, I only received highlights.”
In contrast to a publicly released transcript of the July 25 phone call, the two-page memo used dramatic language. According to the memo, the White House official “described the (July 25th) call as ‘crazy,’ ‘frightening,’ and ‘completely lacking in substance related to national security.’”
The first whistleblower complaint helped spark House Democrats to launch a formal impeachment inquiry into the president, with many claiming he improperly pressured Ukraine to investigate potential 2020 election rival Joe Biden, whose son Hunter once sat on the board of a key Ukrainian energy firm. Trump repeatedly has denied he did anything wrong.

Horrible journalism. Are we just supposed to guess font type and size?

Are we still pretending that OMB didn't release the Transcript?

We have the book and witness testimony (Trump and Zelenskyy) but the Democrats and media continue to rely on the book report.

And yet, the transcript of the phone conversation does not bear witness to that assessment.

Because Trump was about to pull the rug right out from under the DIMs. I image is was very frightening

I read the transcript of the call and think it was a perfect call, one of the most perfect calls ever made. Does that count for anything?

So basically the First WB is saying he didn’t get all the facts and context, but just the slanted view of the probably second WB....

Written by someone who didn't read the book....just heard about it.

Yet..there is a transcript.

Then it DEFINITELY is not a proper IC "whistleblower" investigation.

Not only is the transcript immaterial but testimony from Trump and Zelenskyy is immaterial also.
We must rely on second and third hand CIA whistle blower accounts.

Just saw a similar article on MSN this morning.
Found this interesting, and discredits the WB
The WB tries to make it sound as if Trump was pushing Rudy on the Ukraine President, and the Ukraine President didn't want to meet with him. If I recall correctly, the transcript showed the Ukraine President offering to meet with Rudy without Trump even bringing him up.
There is also this part:
How much fluff do you need to add to a conversation that lasted a few minutes to get 2 pages, single spaced?

Significantly, the whistleblower noted, “The President did not raise security assistance” during the call. Allegations of a quid pro quo were central to the complaint, later filed by the whistleblower in mid-August which also “connected the dots” through media reports and other unnamed officials.
“The President told Zelensky that he would be sending his personal lawyer, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, to Ukraine soon and requested that Zelensky meet with him. Zelensky reluctantly agreed that, if Giuliani travelled to Ukraine, he would see him,” the whistleblower wrote.
In the transcript, Zelensky said, “we are hoping very much that Mr. Giuliani will be able to travel to Ukraine and we will meet once he comes to Ukraine.”

They are trying to gaslight Trump into thinking one of his officials said this. It is insane. It would have to be in his immediate cabinet. They also said before that VP was in on this call. So this is how they take down Trump and Pence and get President Pelosi.

This is all out war with the CIA right now.

Mabye the WB's contact could hear the frightening and sinister tone with which the words were said.

Not at all. There are a dozen or so state dept. and NSC staff on these calls plus translators.
