At least he sticks up for players when they aren't playing well.
Grant played pretty damn well against Utah State.
He got lucky one pass was dropped on that post route in front of him, but other than that, he had a very solid game.

I went back and watched them all. He is clearly not in the best shape. Not sure if that is from injuries limiting his conditioning lately, but he was sluggish.
Had some plays where you say "god damn that kid is good" and the others he almost looks like he can't get out of the blocks.

Well, he looked really strong against weaker opponents and Orgeron was essentially calling him and Shelvin co-starters in Fall camp. I have to think his injuries have hurt his conditioning, which is everything for a 360 lber.
I think as he gets in better game shape he'll be a big contributor at the end of the year.

A few weeks ago Coach O described the speed rush package as a green light and they are to go go go. This package is pure and simple and just rush the QB with all they got.

I hate that Flott is out. Moving Vincent inside seemed to be a great move and the coaches were talking about how impressed they were with Flott in the offseason. I would suspect he jumped Kelvin Joseph on the depth chart and that along with some of his off field issues led to Joseph transferring.
