Tiger Stadium will be rockin Saturday night and there will surely be plenty of Gator fans in attendance. How do you plan to greet the opponents? Offer them boudin and gator with a friendly tiger bait chant? Or do you put the vibe out that they’re not welcome?

There's no reason not to be.

It's embarrassing when you see this or hear about it from opposing fans.

There is no reason to be rude to opposing fans....unless they are rude to you first then it’s ON........

Never understood why you'd want to be an a-hole to your guests ...

I treat every opposing fan how I'd hope they would treat me at their place.

We won’t treat them like they treat us. We’ll show them what college football and southern hospitality is all about. Florida fans better be taking notes on Saturday as they walk around all the tailgates. Hardly anyone will say anything mean to their fans like they do to our fans when we go to Gainesville, and if someone does say something mean, it’ll be mostly just messing around, and they’ll probably offer those fans food and beer

Leading up to the game, yes. Walking/stumbling to the stadium and during game time, no.

We’ll feed you, give you drinks, let you party and have fun. There will be good natured ribbing.

As long as you aren’t an a-hole we’ll be the most gracious hosts ever. You’ll probably get tiger baited, but it’s worth it

I don't tailgate anymore, but when I did if someone came up and started talking from a hated SEC foe and were cordial, I'd respond in kind. Otherwise, I generally ignore opposing fans entirely.

The only difference is for OOC games with fans that are never here and you can tell they are just happy to be here. Or, this past Saturday a guy sat down next to me in the EU and mentioned to his girl that Tiger Stadium was different than the Rose Bowl and that he didn't mind being that far away because the sight lines were better. started talking to him and turned out he lives in Texas but is a native Californian who always wanted to take in an SEC game. Spent a good bit of time telling him about the history of the stadium, great games there, he asked about seeing recent star players there lives, etc. Those kinds of interactions are great.

No Reason to be a "RICHARD" to anyone.....
UNLESS THEY ARE BAMA FANS.... HA!!!

No Seriously, just like politics, Just because someone has a different point of view politically doesn't mean F-ck them or what not, UNLESS THEY ARE EXTREME LEFT/RIGHT

Just like if they are EXTREME and yelling "we going to F-ck u up tonight" Then you have my RICHARD BLESSING

But for the most part, we all want to have a good time

Give them shite to see how they take it.
1. If they are cool about it, they are welcome.
2. If they are typical Florida douchebags, increase the hazing until they finally go away!

Why would anyone be a dick to someone just because they cheer for an opposing team?

Be welcoming - there's nothing wrong with it.

Having just gone to an away Saints game in Seattle, it was nice to feel welcomed in and out of the stadium. Now grant it, we weren’t being rude or obnoxious fans, but we never had a problem and would recommend going back. Hope our fans portray that same sentiment outside the stadium. LSU tailgating is like no other.
