I wouldn’t say “given up” but he sure doesn’t seem ready yet.

Miami won’t draft Tua, nor should they. They will be in for the DE from tOSU then get Herbert. Which is best thing for them to do.

Keenum struggled against the Giants, but his other 3 games he did ok stats wise. Haskins is in no way ready to play in the league (plus Gruden didn't want him), and McCoy has "played" in all of 6 games the last 3 seasons.

Gruden knows he is fired this year no matter what. This is probably a little "frick you" to Snyder. Won't be surprised if he is fired as soon as they are mathematically eliminated which I assume already happened.
Snyder has a bad habit of thinking he knows anything at all about football, to the detriment of everyone else in the organization.
