Youre right the defense is trash because of 1 long run.

also LSU’s offense may be out two starting receivers. Glad to see others getting experience but they better catch the damn ball!

I think we are down 1.

Didn't Utah State just have their asses handed to them at home by Hawaii Saturday night? Something like 51-3

Yep. Just destroyed by Hawaii. LSU is better than Hawaii, right? So LSU better beat USU by at least 60 points then otherwise it doesn't look good for LSU this year.

Hawaii destroyed Nevada. Utah St beat Colorado St 34-24.

These Aggies are 3-1 with their lone loss to Wake Forest in W1.

LSU rolls 61-17. Defense puts SEC on notice as they finally dominate for 3 quarters and only surrenders a late 10 pts in this one.

DA shows UF a few more blitzes to worry about and experiments a tad less with the zone ( for now). We will need this multiple d to slow down Alabama though.

No. One loss only. To Wake Forest in a close game.

Ut St will put up a fight for a quarter or so - but they are out-gunned in every department.

Love is very streaky. Once you rattle him, he makes mistakes.

Very talented, but he seems mentally weak.

Very streaky? Well, let’s hope LSU’s secondary doesn’t blow a couple assignments, and get him going. Some fans say LSU will win comfortably, wish they would clarify comfortably. In their last matchup LSU beat Utah St by 16 pts, 30-14 was the final. My, my how expectations have changed.

If they run up and down the field on the defense, it will probably be time to reassess this season's goals...

Love's play has definitely been a concern for us! He threw three of those picks against Wake Forest where it looked like he was forcing the action. The other two were against CSU this last week. CSU knew it was coming both times, and our receiver shares some of the blame for not coming back to the ball. He likes to wait on that out route so he can turn to the boundary and try to leave the CB behind.

Having said all that, Love needs to be better if we are going to be in this game whatsoever. I don't expect us to win (I am actually going to be in attendance and can't wait to experience Death Valley), but if Love throws a couple picks it will be a long day.

Our defense has been pleasantly surprising, though. Despite a comedy of errors (4 turnovers and a blocked punt in nasty weather) against CSU, they only allowed 17 points and held them to a FG in the second half.

Can't wait to see Tiger Stadium in action! Disappointed in the 11 AM kickoff though!
