Edibles take about an hour to kick in which I believe can be influenced up or down depending on when you last ate food.
The high lasts about 5 hours and feels a bit different (better) for me.

Not really. Sugary type items will get into your system faster. the more sugar, the quicker it moves in my experience. for instance, a lollipop, all sugar and thc basically zips through me.
A cupcake or rice Krispy treat or something in that area, while having sugar, moves slower because of the other ingredients maybe.
The amount of mgs is important. More on the don't overdo it side. A small amount will be felt by anyone who isn't a normal user

I've been a fan of Painkiller flower. Bred to help with pain, it is fairly high in thc and cbd. It helps with body relaxation also.

I wouldn’t say that’s universally true. Sugary gummies have taken up to two hours for me
