what if your toddler decided they wanted to be a dog. Cool with them drinking out of a water bowl and eating kibble with Kujo on the floor?
As long as they're both crate trained, I don't see a problem here

Is it because you don't think children that young can make decisions like that?
frick no
Why the Hell would a 2 or less year old even contemplate not eating something you put in front of him unless the taste was bad?

Rare, but could have a meat allergy.
Or they are raising him as a vegetarian per the other parent's request.

What's fry cooks making up in Wisconsin?

Some kids/people have allergies to animal products. Maybe it was that.

Let me clarify for the sensitive: being that the Infant child will be missing out on the nutrients in meat that most children at that age begin receive, it is feasible that it could have future health issues.
It’s not veganism and their virtual signaling, vegetarians have options for replacing meat nutrients pretty easily now. Impossible and beyond meats are doing a good job at even replicating the taste.
I see more of these people doing it for their health and not ethical reasons and I can respect that.

Poor kid is doomed already and doesn't even know it. They are raising that kid for a life of failure.
Because he doesn’t eat meat?

Wrong. Animal-sourced protein is absolutely the best, most complete source of protein available. You cannot fake it, or get around it with supplements. They aren't making a healthy choice, they are simply poorly educated and are being duped into a fad lifestyle so they can virtue signal to those around them.

If the kid had an allergy it's likely that would have been the wording used.
The parents probably chose this for the child. I don't know a single toddler who knows what being a vegetarian is at less than 2 years.

The most likely.
I really don't see a problem with them doing so either.

I don't either. As long as the child is healthy and getting the proper nutrients.

We allow parents to let their kids be Alabama fans. That is much worse than a vegetarian kid.

My corn-fed beef kid can whoop your vegetarian kid any day.
Hey...I need to get a bumper sticker made.

Not a clue, but I did stop at the gas station earlier and they had a help wanted sign up that said starting at $15.00 for 3rd shift. I almost applied.

Don't see what the big deal his. I don't take this to mean that the child chose to be vegetarian. I thought it would be implied that the adult made that lifestyle choice for the kid.
I know a couple(one who is a veggie and the other a carnivore) who for cultural reasons elected to raise their child as a veggie until he's of age to choose for himself.
I'm gonna raise my kids to partake in the meats but To each their own, there's plenty of other cultures who raise their child as a veggie and they turn out fine.

You can and get a great diet. I mean you are talking like meat eaters are somehow this sanctuary of good diet in this country. Most of us eat garbage.

Ehh, I think you’re making too big a deal about who is “choosing” his diet. Obviously it’s the parent and I doubt they would argue with that. We also decide the diet of our young children.
And we also eat and feed our kids meat, but I don’t see a problem with not doing so. Kids can get all the nutrients they need without meat.
