old school beer garden spots?

Bratz Y'all is what you're looking for.

Stupid name. It's in the Bywater. It's not really "Old School" as it's a fairly new place, but they make their own sausages and have a full assortment of German beer in the big liter steins.

Be warned, if you're looking to go this weekend they are doing their Oktoberfest and will be quite slammed the whole time.

Bratz is fun. Wait until the weather cools down. Wrong Iron has a great biergarten-like setup, but it’s new and popular, so it’s full of asshats... and no steins.

Oktoberfest at Deutches Haus is cool but anytime other than the Oktoberfest weekends at Deutches Haus, I'd recommend Bratz Yall. Pretty similar beer selection but the food is so much better at Bratz Yall. It really isn't even close.
