Because you can’t complain without being arrested.

Because people that buy $79 cheap Southwest or Spirit Airline tickets feel like they are entitled to everything in the world.

They earn poverty wages. You pretend to pay them, they pretend to work.

Some of them look pretty sketchy. You know some have spent the night at the Greybar hotel.

You think if they were making a “living” wage then they wouldn’t be so rude and lazy?

I agree but there are plenty of jobs out there that don't require a HS diploma

There is nothing worse than dealing with some middle management corporate douche that thinks he’s the most important person in the world. Multiply that experience into all day every day and you’d be a little moody as well.

Sitting in the first couple of rows of the plane and the Admirals’ Lounges helps to take the edge off the rest of the generally crappy commercial air travel experience.

Get a Global Entry ID from TSA, that helps too.

No. I don't really think about them at all. When air travel changed to being run by bullies with an IQ of about 90, I changed how I do business. I used to fly about 100,000 miles per year. Now I seldom fly. This way, I don't have to think about them and their lazy, rude, power-trips.

I almost invariably find airline employees to be very helpful, especially given that they get complained to and even berated when most things are not their fault. And TSA is not an airline employee. They are government employees. Their job is not to be nice, it’s to make sure nobody flies a plane into a building.

If i had to deal with the general public every day for a job, i would be a gigantic arse hole also.

The general public expects the world and is generally bitchy.

I would imagine it doesn’t take long for that to get old and stop giving a frick about people’s feelings

What? Airline employees generally give the best customer service of any major industry in my experience. Obviously the TSA is awful, but they’re not airline employees.

That's my biggest issue with the TSA. Every airport seems different, and if you don't do something right they just make you feel like a piece of shite.

I mean, I"m sorry I left my belt on. The airport in Nashville didn't care that I wore it, so I didn't think this airport in Denver would care either.

Okay, fair enough. You did defend their attitude tho because of the “poverty” wages they “earn”. All I’m saying is making a shite wage at a job you’re not forced to work isn’t an excuse for being lazy and rude. They make more than Chick-fil-A employees, who are always friendly and eager to help. Plenty of people out there willing to do the job without all the attitude.
