I love Cut and SW. Both are classic, old school steakhouse with quality beef and sides.

I like Ramsay’s steakhouse in the Paris. Not the flashiest location, but the Caesar salad (with scotch quail egg) and skirt steak are amazing. Service is top notch

Jose Andres is amazing- I’m jealous (make reservation now if you don’t already have one) and please report back :)

Also, most of the high end sushi bars have a decent selection of steaks on the menu.

It’s great. Best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had.

Agree. It’s the one thing I miss about my annual trips to Las Vegas.

Just got back and really enjoyed the Golden Steer. Just don't go to a Drake concert after if you're old like me.

Vegas has, by far, the greatest collection of steakhouses in the world. It’s almost impossible to go wrong.

The world?

I would argue that Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Sydney, Chicago, Kansas City, Dallas and Fort Worth would make compelling arguments otherwise.

Should have clarified- meant to say greatest concentration of high end steakhouses.

Herb and Rye - its off the strip but if you are looking for a great steak its up on the list. Speak easy style bar with a Great Gatsby theme. just be sure to be there for the early or late happy hour, its half of steak. Believe me, you don't want to pay full price.

I've been to Vegas several times and by far, the BEST steak in Vegas is at Cut. It is located in The Palazzo.

I've had both the Japanese Wagyu and the American Wagyu. The Japanese Wagyu was actually too rich/buttery for me. I preferred the American Wagyu much more.

As far as appetizers- you cannot go wrong with the Maple Glazed Pork Belly and the Big Glory Bay King Salmon Tartare.

It is certainly pricey, but oh so good!

CC is good but you have to go through a dump to get there.

My favorite steakhouses are CUT, SW, and Prime.

Staying at Palazzo on the strip. I believe there's a steakhouse called Cuts

I ate there last Christmas. It was freaking legit. Had a girl pushing around an “Old Fashioned” cart, from which you could have an Old Fashioned made at your table with any of three different levels of Whistle Pig. I opted for the cheap $35 one over the $125 or $165 selections.

Had wagyu steak and 5 glasses of wine.

Pretty expensive meal, but I didn’t care.

Great thread

Going to check out both local spots mentioned: herb and rye and Jackson's bar and grill.

I'd rather avoid the touristy strip if possible.

Bump. Alright I went with the Palm in Caesars because they're right next door to mirage and they screwed up my 18oz ribeye she have me a 24oz instead.

Would recommend.

Onward to next night!
