Ex girlfriend is sending new girlfriend texts from my number. I know this is fairly easy to do with spoofing apps and likely I can’t prevent it.
She also is receiving texts I send, however. She showed me a screenshot of one I sent that appeared to have gone to her. No record of this in my phone, but it was exactly the text I’d sent to the new gf.
Went to Verizon store but they were no help at all. Not sure how she accomplished this. Would a new sim stop it? I have android. TIA!

Obviously, we're going to need more data points and I'm not an expert by any stretch, but what app do you use for texting?
It may be as simple as the ex has your log in information for that app, so she is able to send (as you) and has access (as you) to your sent texts.
If you're android and log in with your Google account, maybe changing that password would be the first thing I might try. If you're using a third party app for texting, maybe switch up those passwords.
Now, if she has set up recovery information using her own accounts, you might have a bigger problem. At some point, her conduct might drift into criminal activity. I'm not saying to escalate to that level, but the mere threat of it might get her to back off.

Sounds like there’s something on your phone, a hidden app perhaps, that allows her to see your phone usage. I bet she can see other outgoing texts too. I’d do a hard reset of the phone

Wipe your phone and see if she still has access. Probably a hidden app.

Also, how did the old GF get the new GF phone number?

1. Change Google password
2. Wipe the phone
3. Put a password
Win.
