Beginning to get worried about Ed Ingram's return, if there is one forthcoming...

First, we get a deleted tweet from EI70 himself. Everyone hoped we would hear something last week. On Monday, Coach O said we should hear something in a couple of days. Presumably, the proceedings ended on Monday. There seems to be a roadblock that may never go away.

Might be a call from Tuscaloosa to Birmingham that is delaying his return..

Wasn't there positive news just a couple days before the Texas game too?

Maybe the judge is actually a Florida alum

Vol said the team is going to try to get him snaps this weekend. I would assume that means he is back and LSU just hasn’t decided to be vocal about it yet.

Who cares! The guy messed up and is paying the consequences. If he's able to return great, if not oh well!

He actually said this:

quote:

Everything is good. Waiting on the official OK from the NCAA, and they hope to get him some snaps this weekend if they can.

So they still were waiting on NCAA. Sounds like the court cleared him, but they want to make sure they're not breaking any NCAA rules by playing him first.

Could be what they're waiting on...

The court system is never in any hurry to do anything. I would imagine that an official announcement would not be made until everything is officially signed, sealed, and delivered. Everything is verbal at this point.

What? When did he say this?

If he's been found not guilty, he in fact DID NOT mess up.

Latest development? Not good. Move on with the season assuming he will not return.

I hate this for Ed, but he made a bad choice. I don't rejoice over a ruined career or life. But man, once you get entangled in the legal system........

I would suspect that LSU wants to keep his return as low profile as possible.

Ingram needs to stop tweeting until he has a signed judge's order. Even the, he would be wise to let someone else talk about it.

who cares are LSU fans who watched him play his true freshman year when by the end of the season was the best OL on the field and will most likely be the best OL we have this year. He will be difference maker on the interior of our OL.
