Les has had some entertaining, memorable pressers over the years. But he's got nothing on Mike Leach. I spit out my coffee watching this one. "Harry Potter activists".

He's on the most entertaining part of the spectrum.

Leach inquired and expressed interest in the LSU job before O was hired.

Mike Leach cooling off his hot coffee while Mark Dantonio answers a question during the Holiday Bowl press conference is the best Mike Leach moment ever.

Tennessee is so fricking dumb for not hiring Leach. He specializes in resurrecting programs that appear to be lost causes. Who ever thought he would be able to take Washington State and get them ranked on a consistent basis. People call him a clown and all that but the guy can straight up coach fricking football and he’s proved it over and over.

I would pay a considerable subscription price for a Mike Leach reality show with no scripting - just a guy following him around with a mic and a camera.

He's got a brilliant mind. His recent interview on PMT was awesome. He taught a class up at Wash St and had his students create and draw up plays as an assignment. Definitely an out-of-the-box thinker.. He belongs in the SEC (and my God.. considering all of the recent shite-tier hires of other schools in the conference, he absolutely would have been better than most)

I don’t understand how a struggling major program doesn’t go after Mike Leach. Tennessee had the man and screwed it up.

Even if he doesn’t bring a program a national title, he would breathe life back into them to take the next step. Leach will bring national attention and fan interest back to whoever hired him.

Dinardo was critical in bringing LSU back into relevance. Not a great coach but got the spark going again. Mike Leach would do that and more.
