He's hilarious, interesting, brilliant, and is one of the most influential offensive minds in the history of the sport.

His coaching tree is fricking insane. The new age of offense in college and the NFL is largely from his brain.

There might be a little scripting, but there are still bound to be some incredible things that come out of this.

I don’t understand how a struggling major program doesn’t go after Mike Leach.

I badly wanted Ga Tech to go after him. would've been the polar opposite offensive system, and fun to watch. not to mention his personality.

If Vandy fires Mason (which probably won't happen), I would bet they would talk to Leach.

Leach might have bigger targets in mind though.

Tennessee had the man and screwed it up.

If Pruitt continues to tank, Leach may get another shot at the Tenn job.

He was one of those smart guy coaches. Got a law degree. Said screw that I love football. Air raid offense with a twist. Great coach. Got run off from Texas Tech cuz he didn’t treat some celebrity kid like a prince.

Leach was on Miles' podcast. Some serious entertainment value.
quote:

Miles asked, “Would you rather be President of the United States, or win a national championship?”

“You know that is kind of a tough question,” Leach said. “They’re weirdly similar jobs from the standpoint, virtually everybody believes they can do your job better than you can do it. I mean, whether you’re president or a football coach, there’s literally children sitting around thinking they know your job better than you do. You know that Air Force One’s kind of got an appeal to it. Then you’d want to get to the bottom of Area 51, see what exactly they do know about UFOs and what they don’t.”

Les Miles and Mike Leach gather for predictably weird, wild podcast

If I’m not mistaken , he has a law degree. Very eccentric , yet very entertaining .

I want to see Saban asked that same question at one of his pressers!

Love his recent response to the California legislature pushing for paying players.

He said, “maybe they should handle cleaning the streets before getting involved with college football.”

The guy is entertaining and a great coach.

Sadly for him, I don’t know that he will ever get a better job due to the Texas Tech scandal
