i mean, is it really that far fetched nowadays?

look at how many power 5 schools are starting freshmen now.

They may start them, but very few are polished on day one, and i think the Clemson QB has been very good, but he's the exception, not the rule.

Whose passing offense is better right now, ours or Clemson's?

Spoiler alert, it's not even close.

Myles just needs playing time to help the transition. And some hairy balls to drop.

Technically... ours is better rn. Trevor has thrown for 831 yds, 5 tds and 5 ints w/ a QBR of 78.7. Burrow has thrown for 1,122 yds, 11 tds and 2 ints w/ a QBR of 92. I'd say we most definitely have the better passing game rn

cmon man. Are you seriously saying that because of some gaudy numbers after 3 games of which only one was a worthy opponent, he should decommit from the defending national champs? I would love to for us to get him but does that sound rational to you?

That did not answer what ties we have to him.

I know he camped here but other than that he hasn’t mentioned us.

How many 5 Star Quarterbacks did Sumlin have at A&M? What did he do with them?

I think one won a heisman literally just last year in the right system.

I could be wrong, but I'm not.

How many 5 star quarterbacks or really highly rated QBs have played in the playoffs the past 5 or so years?

Seems like a ton. Watson was a close 5 star, #1 overall DT.

I still prefer a guy with that type of upside.

Someone said something about 99% being projects.. Okay, but not 99% of the type of recruits you can get at a prestige program struggle with accuracy. I look forward to the days LSU can recruit elite QBs like Clemson and Alabama. Obviously it won't happen this year, but it absolutely can happen the following year.

It’s not even about recruiting kids just out of high school now. QB’s are in the transfer portal all over the place and with this offense humming like it is, it should be very appealing to a guy no matter what age or where he comes from.

So you are correlating a project to a starting QB at a power 5 school? Nice job

A lot of recruiting threads are like this. Dude asks an intelligent question or provides some info and the thread devolves into 2 recrutitards battling it out over how much inside info they have on a 17 year old high school kid to try to get board credibility.

You are right about that I would let one of the committed QB's walk because I just don't see one of them developing into a SEC starting player.
