Not a series, but ppl brought up the Dolorean from Back to the Future so.. Growing up, I thought this was the badest fkn car ever.

The Mystery Machine wasn't a car. It was a drawing of a car. The proper answer for TV shows is Batmobile, Magnom's Ferrari, and Rockford's Firebird in that order.
Scratch that. As much as I loved The Rockford Files I forgot the General Lee but it is still only in third place.

When I think of Miami Vice cars I think of Tubbs' drop top Cadillac.

Are you serious, Clark?

I don't think anyone would argue the bat mobile is the most iconic in a TV series.

Not as well known...but as a kid, I loved Bill Bixby's C3 Corvette on The Magician.

My wife's responses were: KITT and the General Lee

Batmobile

Not everyone is a Comic book nerd and that show was lightly watched.
quote:You really have no idea of what you're talking about. 1989 wasn't the first instance of Batmania. Batman was a major pop-culture phenomenon in 1966. Batman (and the Batmobile) was everywhere.
Batman aired for only 3 seasons and was never a hit.

The Delorean, while iconic, was not used in a TV series.
So, we're not counting animated?
NVM on the truck, I thought we were talking about the van - THE iconic A-Team vehicle.

I forget the name of the company in Florida that started making them but it started with an E, Excalibur maybe but that doesn't sound right in my head
My best guess is Exotic CoachCraft out of Naples. They're out of business now, but they used to make a Daytona kit that was really popular.

Miami Vice actually had two, most people just never think about the second one, the real one ....
I think Ferrari came to a deal with them - "If you'll be reasonable on use/abuse and need for replacement, duplicates, we can work something out if you stop using those God-forsaken kit cars/replicas." But, in Italian, so it sounded both cooler and more angry at the same time.
