Anyone else think the reaction to the Tennessee “shirt” kid is really weird?

The kid pins a UT doodle to his shirt and now Tennessee is hanging a shirt outside the stadium and half the fans there were wearing it.
It’s weird as hell. It could at least be a good shirt.
The kid did it in Florida. You don’t think a Florida kid would get made fun of in Tennessee for drawing something crappy like that and pinning it on his shirt?

He got bullied as much as saying tiger bait to someone is bullying.
Lastly the shirt looks like shite

Tennessee saw an opportunity for a PR stunt in the midst of a disaster of a season. They know that the general public is a sap for stories like this. Kudos to both the kid and Tennessee's marketing department.

Not for what you are complaining about, but the closer I read the story, he was more likely teased a bit and not bullied, but hey, bullied is a buzzword today that gets attention.
