How loud was it in there? Watching the replay and it sounds like it was a good atmosphere.

Was it a preview of what our squad can expect this year in the SEC?

I thought that other SEC venues are definitely louder but I don’t know if it was not as loud because of the open end zone.

It was pretty loud. Just Beneath UF/Auburn when they’re rocking.

I'd rank it right there with UGA and Alabama loud. It wasn't LSU, Auburn, or Florida loud. louder than A&M too actually (no troll). I was surprised given its reputation of being a morgue

I'll just say the fans around me were not a contributing factor. their big donor seats had plenty of "wtf sit down" folk who tried to butt heads, but I paid way too much for that seat. so i politely told them to sttdb

Certainly not ear piercing, but reasonably loud.

it was the loudest game ever at DKR according to most people here and it certainly was the loudest i have been to at that stadium. Louder than Bama

Good atmosphere but not on the level of LSU, Auburn, Florida, UGA or aTm.

I honestly was unimpressed with the noise level.

It wasn't nearly as loud as I thought it would be.

It was loud. They blow that canon every time a punt or kick returner tries to catch the ball. That shite was loud and can really rattle a player and cause fumble.

It was loud enough to potentially mess with any visiting team. The board would light up with the decibels in the stadium every time it got loud and I saw it flash to about 105. The longer the game went the louder the fans got

Not very loud, I was in lower level at 10 yard line LSU bench. Was pretty lame, but better than Bama since they did yell some and not just wave their Pom poms. They had a decibel meter on scoreboard for what it’s worth and highest I saw was about 103 and wasn’t anything near a rocking stadium at LSU, auburn, Florida, Georgia, etc. but then again their south stadium is wide open so who knows what it could be.

Personal experience..

It was louder than Bama, Georgia, TAMU

Not quite LSU, Florida, Auburn or Washington

I was actually surprised how loud it was. And they were on their feet the whole game.

I was above the student section and it got very loud, especially with that damn cannon, but I will also say that every time it got loud, Joe Burrow and that amazing offense would respectfully shut it down! Our O-line was amazingly disciplined and only had one false start. They really tried to get us rattled, but to no avail. We shut it all down, even when they would try to use the loud speakers until a second before we snapped the ball. Great job Joe and the O-Line!!

I just loved that the LOUDEST moment of that entire game was LSU’s BIGGEST play!!!!

Despite what some may say, it was absolutely a great CFB atmosphere.., may not be the best, but it was certainly on par or close to it with any SEC venue for that particular game.

Crowd was louder than expected, but not big SEC atmosphere loud levels.

Also, we could not hear the national anthem by their band at all in section 124.

It was loud but definitely not louder than Bama in 2011, granted I was on the sun in Austin and in the lower bowl for Bama
