That’s pretty much what the NHC has been saying the past few days.

You have a point. They probably won't stress over 40 mph winds.

It could stall all relief and recovery efforts. That would suck

While I hate that something else may hit the Bahamas, is anyone still there aside from relief workers? I know that many were evacuated to Florida. And again at the risk of sounding uncaring, if it hits the same area, the damage is already done from Dorian. I'd venture to say better there than somewhere else at this point.

I promise I'm not heartless -- I don't want to see Nassau and other relatively unaffected areas of the Bahamas affected.

There a lot of relief workers and lots of passenger and living quarters that have been brought in to house first responders and relief workers.

There’s also a huge oil spill clean up going on

Kinda amazing how drastically different the track is compared to 24 hours.

Just pay attention and stick with the NHC, they are the only ones that know what they’re talking about.

Sent a crewboat that left yesterday and that’s it.

Have a few people coming in from Nassau and Panama next week to look a few vessels to purchase.

I’m still not chasing any charters.

Well, TD kind of forgot about PTC 9.

Guess I can see why with the Euro staying well off the US coast and GFS moving well east with a weak system over Florida before the kick out.

And the stronger Euro solution also appears to shut the door on the next system getting in the Gulf. Pretty interesting turn of events considering 36 hrs ago the Euro & GFS agreed on PTC9 being a unorganized mess moving into the Gulf. In fact, a couple of days ago the Euro had the moisture associated with this bringing rain to DFW

So the EURO pulled a me in its prediction 36 hours ago. It happens to the best of us. I feel better already.
