Here is my hack.
1. Don't go to Disney world unless you have kids. If you have kids, just suck it up while you are there and let them enjoy it. Hopefully they will be happy with going just once.

If you go at the right time of year, and can tell yourself (and I guess convince your kids) this is our ONE big blowout trip here, it can be an easy enough place to enjoy, if you have the right mindset to do so.

This. You know, I'm generally a pretty snobby person, but I don't get the people that can't enjoy it on occasion. I also don't understand the people that make that their only annual vacation, but whatever floats their boats.
