I disagree with you on this. 1 reason he should be banned, its illegal in La. Period. 2. Theyre getting a free education on taxpayer money, they should get tested

It takes a pretty low IQ to make a statement like this and believe it.

It's pretty sad that today's 2 dumbest posters have LSU Alum or LSU Grad in their handles

No, your source is VolTiger and you put together hints he dropped in another thread and claimed it as your own.

No reason to tip our hand to Ga Southern. Announcing suspensions right now would help them.

Bad policy or not it is still the policy and they know that it is. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. If LSU asked me to go to school for free to play football but we just ask you to not smoke weed. Guess what? I’m not going to smoke weed.

I smoked weed when I was younger then I got a job that asked me to not do it anymore so I stopped.
Millenials cannot comprehend this line of thinking. They grow up thinking they can do whatever they want with no consequences.

There is not a single player on the team who is a Millenial

Drinking and fighting - also banned (drinking illegal for most of them) - does not receive the same pearl clutching response as weed.

I just don’t see the Bears as Super Bowl contenders this year.

Add to that: sexual assault, receipt of improper benefits (payment), violations of academic integrity policies, etc.

You should get a bit of context before you respond to posts. Another poster made it a legal issue. I responded pointing out the reasons why that doesn't make sense in this context.

Also, none of the things you mentioned (skipping team meetings and practices) have alone resulted in multi-game suspensions at LSU in all the time I have been a Tiger fan. You know what has? Weed.

Again, this is not all that unusual as of late, as the classic “team rules violation” suspension can encompass any number of infractions, from drug tests to meeting tardiness to academic merits (missed classes/study hall sessions, etc...), and small infractions can build up over the offseason.

Its not a bad policy. Theyre trying to make these kids responsible, dependable adults. If theyve grown up smoking, they had bad parenting. PERIOD.

Name me one starter at LSU who has been suspended for multiple games solely for missing team meetings/practices. I'll wait.
