Nascar "shifts on guns"

This is it going to work out well for Nascar.

So does anyone in Nascar know what "sniper rifles" are? Should some one tell Nascar where the vast majority of guns start their existence from? NASCAR has been in a decline for years now and this latest action will not help them a single bit.

“We just heard from NASCAR on a number of gun-related ads and unfortunately, due to a gradual shift in NASCAR’s position on guns, these ads must be edited/changed—especially those that are depicted as assault-style rifles/sniper rifles. NASCAR is still open to some of the less controversial gun accessories, concealed carry, or classes.”

Seems reasonable actually. Watching cars drive in circles for hours is enough to drive anyone to mass murder. No further encouragement needed.

NASCAR is probably trying anything at this point. Ratings and attendance have been miserable for a while so any press is good I suppose.

Between turning their back on the core fans who supported them in the early days, stabbing us in the back over the Confederate flag and this NASCAR has done a superb job of fricking their own self. Good riddance to the idiots, their sport is gradually dying and it's self inflicted

NASCAR has best stay out of the political activism. Period. First time somebody points to all the Rebel Flags in the campground...they'll be damned if they do and twice-damned if they don't. Those seats will be empty in short order if they screw with their crowd.
