Looking forward to this mini series.

Such fond memories of the last game. When all we heard was how LSU was gonna take over Dallas.

Some of my favorite breweries not far from downtown:

Eastside:
Zilker Brewing
Hops and Grain
Lazarus
Southern Heights
Oddwood Ales

South:
St. Elmo
Pinthouse

Downtown:
Central District Brewing

LSU actually did bring about 35K fans to Dallas that year. They didn’t win, but the fans showed up in droves.

Nice, purple & gold over burnt orange & white. My son went to UT, 4 yrs plus his masters, goes to at least one Tiger game with me because of the unbelievable atmosphere of LSU tailgatting. Because It Means More. SEC,SEC,SEC heehoo

That sounds like a lot. My son and I will be there for the game.

Side question: Where will the LSU contingent be tailgating and sitting?

I like the northern brewery district better

Austin beer works, 4th tap, Oskar Blues, NXNW, Celias, circle, are all within 5-10 minutes of each other and all have their own fun atmosphere and great beer

Most fans likely won’t have tickets. Im going with a group wed-sun without tickets. Many people I know are going to Nashville the next week instead.

I hear ya. I'm a big fan of ABW and 4th Tap. I was focusing on places closer to downtown since that is where most people are staying.

Hell you could buy season tickets for the same price as a ticket on stubhub.

I see at least two in this thread that are crazy enough to think LSU will have 50% in the stadium. We will lucky to be pushing it to get to 10,000 in there.

Yes a shiton will be in town, but the math will not work out to have big numbers in their stadium

we will have way more than 10.000. Ticket City alone has sold thousands of tickets to LSU fans and no telling how many Stub Hub has sold. Plus thousands of us LSU fans in Texas got UT season tickets. Add all of this with our 3,000 allotted tickets and we have over 15,000 for sure and probably 20,000

I was actually being sarcastic of the 40,000. The OP is delusional to believe anything close to that number.
