You said every “4 years”. O hasn’t even been coach for 3 full years.

im not a Malzahn as a HC guy, but the guy is an upper echelon play caller. Except when he plays coach O
From what I've read Gus hasn't been calling plays the past few seasons and he's just taking back playcalling duties this season.

They didn’t want O hired in the first place, so they’re accelerating his timeline for “success” in their eyes

But in 17 days, the rubber (and melon) hits the road. And all those moronic narratives you and your cronies have been clinging to will explode.. Like watermelons hitting the asphalt - thrown off the roof of a 20-story building.
In 17 days, LSU will most likely whip up on an excellent Georgia Southern team. LSU beating this team is clear proof of Brady being ready for the big time while his mentor, Ensminger, was keeping a watchful eye on the young man. All while the man in the high castle, Coach O, was keeping an eye on both Ensminger and Brady. The system will work most perfectly and it will be a win like we haven’t seen since we dominated Southeastern and Arkansas last year.

To be honest I’m not even sure why O was even brought up so you might be onto something.

Yeah, and go find and ask any Auburn fan how they feel about that. I promise you it won’t be pretty..

Yes.....but with multiple phases of the offense lacking experience (including Joe B)....there was no choice but to go with the offense we had....
Well that's a result of hiring Canada then parting ways after 1 season.
This set up could work. But It could also still end in E or O vetoing the plays and going conservative like we've seen before.

In the practice videos, the time is under 2 seconds (on the short throws). If that holds up against Ga So , this offense will be way too hot to handle for Texas, IMO.

Saban fired an experienced DC, then moved a young Linebacker Coach over to DC and won a BCS championship.

If 0 is looking to promote Brady to OC next year, with this year being one of heavy influence from Brady, then I commend him on the high risk/reward. Of course, 0's hiring of Canada was also exciting, and somehow 0 managed to screw that up.
O is a big trust guy.
I think E being there should help Brady ease in what he wants to do with E vouching for him.If things go well, Brady will be an O guy.

Well yes, but things aren't always roses.
What this coach struggles with is dealing with the fact that in order to make an omelette you have to crack some eggs. He was unwilling to endure growing pains with Canada. We'll see what happens this season.

Kirby’s coaching career started in 1999, unless you’re talking about another position coach turned DC.

See, you really can be rational. I would love more quick throws that hide any oline deficiencies

Well he’s the one who hired him to begin with. He may do the same to Brady too if the offense doesn’t work.

And LSU is still paying Canada.
Edit: I stand corrected.

No we settled and paid him a lump sum

In addition to helping the O-line, it also helps the passing game. A lot easier to thread a tight (but safe) opening at 5 or 10 yards, than it is at 15, 20, or 25 yards.
And DBs have little or no time to help each other out at under 2 seconds.
