If you have a penis, use the men’s room. If you have a vagina, use the women’s room. What’s so hard about this?

You reference them as a recognized class, but it sounds as if you are inferring that they are part of a federally protected class which they are not.
Call me over protective, but I don’t want my teen and preteen daughters using the same restroom as a man who is mentally ill (gender dysphoria) or worst is a pervert creep posing as a transgender to prey on little girls. Nor do I want to explain to them as to why he is using the women’s bathroom.
So to your point, I don’t care about the small percentage of people who may abuse the situation. My common sense/gut feeling tells me this shite ain't right and that it creates an unsafe environment for all involved including transgenders.

I thought "gender" wasn't the same as biological sex? Bathrooms are designated by biological sex.

There was an easy solution. Auto enroll the kid in PE and make them dress out. They would’ve revoked their gender so fast everyone’s head would’ve spun.
