I get Louisiana stations and I've been seeing a ton of Rispone ads lately on the networks.

Dude is Maga is seems, he mentions Trump support in damn near every ad.

Nah, but he'll take votes away from Edwards.

Likely Edwards and Abraham in runoff.

No not really.... I mean unless Ralph steps in it which he won't he is wasting millions of his own money.... Ralph Abraham is your next governor.... Despite what south of I-10 says

Lil’ Ross Perot obviously has too much money. His ads are cringeworthy. It will be Doc vs JBE.

Seems like he’s running a national campaign to win a job in Baton Rouge... like it seems to be mostly federal issues that a Governor of LA has no purview of.

I donated to Rispone but his ads blew it. I think he could be a good governor and his heart is in the right place. I wish he’d give his money and let Abraham run with this. I think we can beat Edwards but it won’t be with Rispone. I’ll be donating to Abraham soon.

I just hope Abraham has a better ad man than Rispone.

He has absolutely zero shot. It's sad this is the best the Republicans can put out in Louisiana, but then again the job of Governor isnt a good job to take right now

Here’s how the LA governor’s election will play out:

The general election will see Edwards get around 48%-49% with Abraham getting around 29% and Rispone getting about 20%-21%.

Runoff between Edwards and Abraham will give us Governor Abraham after he beats JBE by 2 or 3 percentage points.

It’s going to be close but JBE won’t win re-election.

Lol. MOAR Rispone threads.

It used to be that people were shitting on him about name recognition but I don’t think that’s a problem anymore.

Everyone keeps talking about Rispone on the OT and poliboard and Abraham is getting to the point where he’ll have to pay people to start threads about him.

I don’t think he will win. That said does he have a shot? Absolutely.

His ads aren’t random. Trump is Very popular. And I think the “boom, there it is” is actually kinda clever and catchy.

Lastly, the has bought a LOT of air time. So much so that he is actually squeezing out the other candidates.

So don’t underestimate him.

He had a remote chance until he opened his mouth and started appearing in TV commercials. It's pretty much over for him now.

My retarded cousin says he loves Trump every time I see him. It doesn't qualify him to be Governor.

I have yet to see Rispone mention a single policy point or plan or anything. No one even knows what he stands for.

Hey LAGOP, you know how you lost the last election?

I’m guessing you didn’t learn your lesson. Someone needs to get on the phone without Scalise with the quickness. He’s not the hero Louisiana deserves right now, but he’s the one it needs.

To make a football analogy, Rispone is a 6'4" 220 lb guy who runs a 4.38 40, wants to play WR, and has never played a down of football in his life. And now he wants to play in the NFL.

He's going to turn a few heads and draw interest, but that's not going to be enough by itself.

Rispone's stats and background checks some boxes - He's MAGA, he's a successful businessman in a state that desperately needs more successful businesses, he's a bit of an outsider (but still knows enough people to get stuff done).

And he's got enough money where he doesn't need to heavily depend on fundraising.

The commericals he is running now are the ones he should have been running 3-4 months ago - basic introduction material. He also seems like he's been doing a lot of small-bit campaign stuff - speaking at small civic meetings, fleshing out ideas, etc.

It's time for him to start talking about how he is going to make Louisiana better. IF he has good ideas and can package them in an easy to understand way, he would have a great shot at winning.

But he hasn't done that yet.

Another football analogy, he's the QB of a team on their own 10 yard line, down by 5, 90 seconds left in the game... but he's got an offense capable of getting it done. Which means he has a shot.
