No kidding, brother. I was riding on that stretch of rebel road with my boys Thick Hand and Brown Dog. Too many civies. Luckily we are shadows.

First day of school.

But it is always bad. Dumbasses built a brand new two lane road because the last two lane road stayed backed up with traffic.

73 between airline and I10 has been a cluster frick for 10 years. The construction on 10 along with the construction of the new hospital and school make it worse. Then factor in today is the first day of school. Do you best to avoid that stretch between 6:30 and 7:30.

You won't have that problem in St. George.

School is back in session. It wasn’t bad at all over the summer. My mornings are about to suck dick again

I saw the new sign for the school and let out an audible "Nooooo"

"Hey guys, how do we fix the most congested road in AP that already has 3 schools on it?....Well DUHHH you build another school on it"

Or, you know, parents just trying to get their kids to school before they go to work, but what ever

When i lived off 74, I would take Nicholson in BR avoiding the Dutchtown 73 at all costs

Now I'm by Sammys and my choices are:

1. A bullet to the head (73 to I10)
2. A bullet to the heart (73 to 42 to Airline)
3. A bullet to the balls (73 to highland)

I'm not that familiar with much of Ascension but it always amazes me when I'm out there how they've thrown up tons of neighborhoods on these narrow 2 lane highways. That's definitely a planning failure.

Yeah that’s bad. I drop my son off in the morning at daycare off of airline and my office is not to far from 73 on 30. My options are to backtrack airline back onto Perkins and take bluff, fight down 73 through 10 and get to C. Braud bypassing Dutchtown, or stay on 73 and fight past dutchtown.

Bottom line, I’m hitting massive traffic on a two lane road somewhere

One of the reasons I make fun of/detest traffic studies is I have yet to hear of or see a study that states the current infrastructure cannot handle the additional traffic.

Airline to 44 to 30.

Not sure it is faster, but less traffic I assume.

Isn’t 30 headed north towards Tanger terrible before I-10?

Ascension is a mess right now. 73 is a nightmare in the morning and my son's school is on 73. I will be late for work everyday and they just keep adding to the mess by building a hospital and a school.
