Chris, Obama, as the first African American President had every opportunity to break the racial barriers and take race out of the conversation and unite all races, colors, religions etc. He had the golden opportunity and failed miserably
Instead, he divided the nation like it has never been before and it was at its all time low when Trump beat Hillary. Hillary’s loss just made the Dems even more disappointed in the Democratic Party and since the country had already been divided by Obama, they piggybacked on that, made it worse and made it look like it’s all Trumps fault.

I didn't vote for Obama. But can you really state for fact that he himself divided the nation or did the republican politicians do it? Or, in reality, did people on both "sides" do it?

sorry to say, but the US will split in region by 2036. Probably 4 regions, so be prepared to move to the region that protects your rights.

His big government, ridiculous regulations and money for all share the wealth policies were some of the problems. There’s plenty of blame to go around but he was the president. There arent many good things he did that you can say put this country in a better position.
Even his own party has been throwing him under the bus lately.
