SIMPLE..... Because that’s the goal, to divide and conquer the American people for political power.

Serious question. what is DT doing to help this division we currently have? He is our leader and he is known for calling people derogatory names, which is something little kids do on a playground. You can hide behind a successful economy and say he’s a great president, but our cultural and political fabric is fraying and it’s going to get worse under his leadership. The blind loyalty to this guy is hard to understand.

People blame guns for problems and want to regulate the item itself when the truth is we have a mental health problem. This needs to be more monitored and reported in schools and those who come back from War or any PTSD type situations. What happens if people start using different forms of weapons? Do we regulate those, too? The more we regulate, the less chance the average, law abiding citizen has against the bad guys. I understand the whole background check and making sure due diligence is done when buying and am behind that, though. It just has to make sense.

Our focus on a problem is misguided partially because of ignorance and another part for those with political agendas.

If our fabric is fraying because the president is calling people names then the fabric was shite in the first place. The super sensitive people are going to lose this battle, but hey..if you want to start it then by all means.

We can make some cuddle states on the coasts...you pick.

Nature isn’t kind, Americans have been about the best it ever has been. If that’s not enough...maybe it needs to swing tougher for a bit.

We are continual buying in on the propaganda that news media outlets are pushing during devastating times.
it's really not the media that is dividing us. Ohh, they're trying. Don't get me wrong but it's people like Gravy who every day takes 2 completely different circumstances from 2 completely different parts of the nation and tries to make it seem as if those 2 incidences = the "truth" . And he feeds this crap to his followers who eat it up like boiled crawfish on a Sunday after church.

Gary Chambers 20 hrs · America. Two photos. Same week. A black lawyer in a traffic stop. A white mass shooter, just killed 20 people. I want every black person in America who continues to be disengaged to recognize that this stuff is happening every day in America to every class of us. America has a problem and it’s called racism. It’s clear. It’s documented. It can be seen in these two photos. Your income bracket won’t save you. We’ve got to unite behind an agenda with people who will work to accomplish it. Our lives are literally on the line.

I think it’s because we are retarded. And fat. So, basically a nation of fat retards. Fat retards of all color. Also, blacks hate whites. That’s a fact that rarely gets airtime. Now, there are plenty of blacks that have positive interaction with whites and do not mind the whiteys on an individual basis. But, as a whole, they hate us. And that’s OK. Because we don’t like them either. Again, we get along with the ones we know on an individual basis. But, as a whole, we do not like them or trust them.

Then you have the media that does everything they can to keep the 2 at each other’s throats because hatred and racism sells.

Now, go back to sleep you fat tards.

How about the dude's may be actual frick ups or fricked in the head? Maybe they had a bad childhood but blaming media or actual weapons for things that people actually do are the problem. If you buy into the "it's that dadgum internet or video game" then you sir, are part of the problem.

Hey Gary, the shooter probably complied with the LEO orders to drop his weapon and get on the ground whereas your black lawyer probably didn’t.

It's not funny but sad. Those who want to blame the so called main stream media for dividing us.

None of these people are watching CNN, fox, and or whatever. They are already unstable and seek out information that feeds their instability. Those aren't the places they go for information! They already have something not working upstairs but people think they are drawn to what normal is.

Nope. They are drawn to and inspired by the falsehoods. So while you may not like the way these networks operate, the truly mentally ill are not watching the 530 National news.

If there's one good thing to come out of the Trump presidency, I think it will be a less divided nation when he finally leaves the White House.

People are ready for normalcy to return. Vast majority of us recognize that these last 10 years we haven't been who we really are as citizens. We can't sink any lower than Trump who, for all intents and purposes, represents daily the state of political dialogue in this country...childish. We've seen plenty of childish behavior from the right. We've seen plenty of childish behavior from the left. No one is happy and Americans are ready to do something about it via voting in 2020.

I don't disagree that these shootings, at their root, are largely due to mental health/societal issues. That said, it's gotten to the point where they are so prevalent that you at least have to consider restrictive measures on firearms if only as a temporary band-aid solution.

We agree that these are mentally vulnerable and fragile people. Since the dawn of man, the last thing we've done with mentally unstable people is to put them all together in a room to feed each other's paranoia, unless that room was under lock and key in a sanitarium.

Sites like 8chan are literally like meeting rooms for those who are most prone to radicalization to congregate, plot, feed their fears, heighten their sense of isolation from "regular" people, and, perhaps most consequentially, find sympathy for their anger and encouragement for their retributive actions on general society.
