Its actually a testament to his raw talent that he's made it this far in his football career while continually residing in the doghouse.

He needs to get his shite together quick though. We're gonna need him once conference play hits. See Auburn last year.

He’s a NFL talent but he can’t get out of his own way.

I think what’s happening here is he violated team rules and O is gonna make him run his arse off as punishment.

The “conditioning” is the punishment not the crime.

His violation isn’t being out of shape.

13.7 YPC

He was leading the team in recprtions/Target

Big strong caught the ball well.

He looks awesome. But he just never gets on the field.

I've never heard of a player being suspended from practicing due to physical conditioning. I can understand making them do extra sprints of something. That will help get them in better condition. But suspending them? Humm

He started in 4 games and appeared in 12. Yet he only had 20 catches. He got plenty of opportunities to play, he just didn't get open that much.

If he ever actually puts it all together, he's an every week starter in the League.

BIG if.

He only appeared in 8 games last season and had 20 catches. He had 7 catches in 4 games in the previous 2 seasons.

By comparison lets look at the receivers who finished ahead of Dee last season not named Jefferson. Sullivan appeared in 10 games with 23 catches, Chase also 10 games with 23 catches, Dillion 9 games 22 catches, Moreau 10 games 22 catches. Looks kind of like if your name wasn’t Jefferson you didn’t get that many opportunities.

Wrong. He played in 12 games according to LSU.

JUNIOR SEASON (2018) Played in 12 games with four starts … Caught 20 passes for 274 yards and a touchdown …

I really don't know why some of you cling to the idea that Dee Anderson is a great receiver. He's played at LSU for three years and hasn't done much. If it was going to happen, it would have happened by now.

But hey, if you want to hold your breath ..... be my guest. I am personally much more excited about Chase, Marshall, and Trey Palmer.

Playing in 12 games isn’t really the same as getting a lot of playing time in 12 games.

He started in four games, all in the first half of the season, and he played a lot in the Auburn game. He featured heavily in the rotation from games 2-6. He played a lot versus Bama.

He got opportunities. He just didn't get open. Jefferson was the only guy who got open consistently, to be honest. Hope that changes in 2019, but not counting on Dee Anderson for that. Dude is not going to put it together after all this time, bro.
