You have no history here. What is your angle?

Very simple

DEVGRU pulls from the Seals

Delta pulls from the special forces units of the army

They both are extremely relaxed in uniform and appearance to give autonomy to their soldiers

Also, to be clear, it was a DEVGRU unit that took out Bin laden, not a traditional seal team

Wanted to clear that up for Tyga

Seal get a lot of press . Way to much to be honest . Think about it , you think the military really wants you or the target to know about our best unit ? Their is a reason delta is not officially recognized.

Delta is mostly, but not exclusively Rangers. SF guys tend to go to another secret squirrel unit. So I've heard.

I think the largest portion actually comes from the Ranger regt. But they'll take from Green Berets and the regular infantry too. I'm sure some SEALs and Marines have made their way onto Delta as well but it's probably pretty rare.

He’s right. DEVGRU and Delta/CAG are tier 1 units. Seals, SF, 75th, MARSOC etc are all tier 2 units.

Yeah I might have gotten rangers and green beret mixed up there. I can’t see units that are essentially on the same level poaching each other’s top talent constantly

In order of most to least in Delta

1. Ranger regiment(will usually be tabbed too)
2. Special forces(Green Berets)
3. 82nd Airborne
4. Other infantry

Don't get me wrong, I'd want him next to me in a fight. He speaks about 4 or 5 languages and is a legit BA. But he's kind of an asshat. Drinks and whores all the time and I'm pretty sure he does a fair amount of coke.

Tough as nails though. Only guy I've ever seen continue to drink and whore all night while practically dying of malaria.

No one has the amphibious/waterborne capabilities that SEALs have developed over the years.

Marine Recon are just as capable as those pretty boys and don’t need to write a book every time they take a shite

The only reason I'm sure is because the VP of my company is a former Delta commander and that's how he got the job. Otherwise I'd think he was full of shite to be honest. I still think he embellishes some of his stories but he was in Delta.

I had thanksgiving dinner at the delta compound at Bragg in the late 80s when I was a kid. My dad was at JSOC at the time. Legit black helis :csb

Talking about capabilities and such, especially with seal teams

Incorrect.

“SEALs” posed in the question refers to the standard teams.

ST6 is allegedly a more elite unit, the best SEALs from all the standard teams on one team.

You may be able to compare Delta and ST6, but you can never compare the standard teams to Delta.

I don't know man. I used to think that too but I work with a former Delta dude and he never shuts the frick up about all his exploits. I also work with a former CCT who was with Seal Team 6 and he rarely talks about his former life.
I've only known one SEAL and he worked "this one time in BUDS" into the first 30 seconds of our first conversation.
