What’s the worst injury you’ve ever had?

And how did you get hurt?
Mine was flag football Freshman year at USC.
It was actually two injuries.
Caught a TD pass over the middle. It was a guy who I was talking shite to all game (Rival fraternity baw)
He laid me out pretty good. dislocated shoulder and concussed.
Still held onto the ball.
Team ended up winning too.
Good times

Not counting the countless concussions I got playing football, it would definitely be when I was sleep walking one night and fell down the stairs, rupturing my achilles. Words could not describe the pain, but the worst part was the huge blisters I would get from the wraps around it.

Broke my hip and wrist in a car accident and had to stay in the hospital for three weeks. The pain actually wasn’t bad at all the first 3-4 days because of painkillers. Afterwards I stopped taking them but the pain was still very manageable because I followed the directions on not bearing weight on my right foot.
By far the worst part was the urethra catheter for the first 4 days.

Hurt my back permanently from cliff jumping into a lake when I was 22. The cliff was way too high to be jumping from. Did some nerve damage that still affects me every day. I wake up every morning all twisted up in a weird position from trying to alleviate the pain in my sleep.

Acting like an idiot. Jumping into little lagoon in gulf shores and I dislocated my shoulder. Popped that fricker straight down even with my nipple.
That was a rough fricking recovery. shite ain’t ever gonna be the same again. I wasn’t even drunk.

I had a ruptured appendix for 2 weeks when I was 13 before they figured out what was wrong with me. I almost died.

Had a softball thrown at my face during a game when I was at Fort Polk. Went in front of the Soldier of the Month board after with huge bruises under my eyes. Still won though.

I fought in a bare knuckle competition once at 19, after fighting two people extremely hard I wasnt medically cleared to continue. I think I had a partial broken left orbital. Obvious concussion.
Didnt go to the hospital for it, and I was being drug tested so I didnt get any pain relief. The recovery of that with no pain relief was some of the worst.

Being an idiot kid in high school shop, I was goofing around when I slipped and put my hand into the bandsaw I was using.
Snuck out and found my brother and went to my friend’s dad’s family practice clinic thinking he could stitch me up and keep it quiet.

I've torn ACL twice. First time was very painful because it tore up a bunch of other stuff. But the most "hurts like a motherfricker!" thing I've ever had was a couple of months ago. My 2 yr old boy yanked the front door open while I was standing in front of it. I was watching a ball game and not paying attention. We were about to walk outside and see whatever commotion the kids next door were causing, but I paused a second to see the last of an at bat. I was wearing flip flops. The bottom of the door caught my big toe nail and stood it straight up. ripped it about 3/4 off. It hurt like frick and I couldn't see a Dr til the next morning.

Ruptured both Achilles’ tendons in 2 different incidents and torn pec bench pressing. Also busted out 2 teeth drunk in college.
