Weeds in cracks of driveway

I’ve been fighting a losing battle with weeds growing through the cracks of my driveway. Someone give me a solution. Roundup and they’re back in a couple days. I’ve taken a shovel to them. Is there anything I can put in the cracks to seal them? Some type of silicon?

Are you using the glysophate version of roundup or the version meant for your turf grass?

This is where I parked my car. (pun intended)
Seems like somebody would make some sort of weed killing clear grout or something that you can spackle into the cracks.

You might try one of these to control the weeds. LINK I use one for weeds in cracks in the driveway, along street curb, patio, etc when I don’t feel like mixing herbicide for that use only. I won’t say it’s any more effective than Roundup, b/c weeds still come back, but it’s easy and pretty quick.
Ordered mine on-line, but I see them for at Home Depot next to where they sell the propane cylinder cartridges.

Be careful blow-torching your driveway. Concrete holds moisture and if you heat it up enough it can explode. I'm not joking.

Get a soil neutralizer but be careful it doesn’t leave you open to erosion issues.

They make a silicone sealant for concrete/outdoors, it looks a tube of caulk. It’s tough as shite to squeeze out too. It works great to seal the cracks, as long as you kill and remove any existing weeds growing there now.

This is exactly what I’m looking for. Any idea on the name? I went to Lowe’s and looked and didn’t find anything. Could have been looking in the wrong spot though. The weeds are so out of control that I can’t pull an extension cord across the driveway without it getting caught. It’s infuriating.

This or the Quikcrete brand. It’s by the concrete materials, not the caulk.

If it's sedge, roundup isn't going to kill it, sedge will also grow through that rubberized joint sealant between your expansion joints

Power wash it use rubberized expansion joint stuff in it may

When the boards in your driveway rot out (and you're likely close to that if the grass and weeds are a problem) try the method shown in this video using backer rod, caulk, and sand.

It takes some time when you it, but no more grass or weeds.

No idea what's in it but I use Spectricide weed and grass killer on my driveway and curb. It's about a 3 time application a year during the growing season to control...

I use ORTHO GroundClear (black bottle). Torches everything it touches so get the bottle with a wand.
