Watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off, such a classic movie. Has anyone done anything remotely as crazy as he does in that movie back in HS and did or did not get away with it?

If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

It's probably second only to "pretty in pink" as the worst of the John Hughes movies.

I personally enjoyed them trying to run the car backward to take miles off.

If I were Cameron I would stay close for college and visit Sloan often while Ferris was away.

Ferris would not drive my Dads "choice" Ferrari. If I were gonna "make a stand" it would be driving the car myself.

You know that movie came out in 1986, right? She's 52 years old.

The hairy arms kinda weird me out, but other than that she looks healthy.

I was afraid this thread was about a remake. Thankfully that’s not the case

This might be the worst take I've ever seen on this board.

What can I say. I didn't like it. I thought it was among the worst of the teen angst movies. In fact, it was stupid.

Oh and if you think this take is bad. You should see how I routinely shite on inglorious basterds.

I actually like Pretty in Pink better than Ferris.

I never got the appeal of Ferris. Just a bunch of rich kids skipping school and worrying about rich kid stuff.

I think Matthew Broderick nails the character, though, and the museum scene is pretty cool.

But I mostly don't care for this movie. I'm the same age as Ferris' character and I did not relate to any of the characters.

I couldn't relate to it either. Not even a little.

I didn't know anyone even remotely like ferris bueller nor was I friends with anyone uber rich.

His sister though was a good character.
