vs Virginia Tech
vs Virginia
vs Georgia Tech
@ Pitt
@ FSU
vs Louisville
bye
neutral site against FIU
@ Duke

are we not talking about miami enough? they miss both syracuse and clemson. i feel like they have a real chance to do something this year, especially if they get by florida but thats just by looking at the schedule

Can Diaz coach though? The team was pretty much arse last year.

They could go 11-1, but I could also see 6-6.

Bethune, C Mich, Louisville, and Fla International all should be easy wins, but I see at least two road losses, probably a loss against Florida, and I really doubt they go undefeated at home.

8-4 maybe? 5-3 in conference which will probably get them the Russell Athletic Bowl or something like that.

Virginia is going to win the division.

i ultimately agree with you but man, they have a schedule the sets it up. all of those home games to build some early momentum, only 4 true road games and only one of those is a legit road test at FSU. the back to back road games can be tricky, and i dont think diaz is the right coach to pull it all together, but its hard not to see the potential upside of their season if he does

I just dont trust any team on that side of the division. Virginia and Virginia Tech are probably the favorites, but I wouldnt be surprised if any team not named Georgia Tech wins it.

If Tech gets that RB from Clemson, I might would have them as favorites.

When will you guys learn that Miami always loses to two of Virginia, North Carolina, Virginia tech, Florida State every year.

Guess what. The U isn’t back and never will be.

They also missed them last year when they were a preseason top 10 team, and they finished with 6 losses.

I'll believe they can do something when they actually do something.

Better question is how many teams in the SEC go undefeated with that schedule? Bama, UGA, probably LSU and A&M, and possibly Florida. That’s a joke.

I bet the 30,000 fans that pack the Miami stadium each week are pumped for this year

They could make a run with that schedule and the talent they have on the roster, but they will have some work to get passed the other teams in the top tier.

Easy schedule but how good is the team?

I don't believe they have that same overachieving defense they did 2 years ago.

I do agree that the schedule looks lopsided enough that we will probably hear there name in the playoff conversation early October but unless they surprise us they will be out by mid-November
