And men are also supposed to scurry around apologizing for themselves.
Women simultaneously find themselves complaining that they “can’t find a real man.”

None of that has a damn thing to do with Serena Williams. In fact, all of the criticisms levied against her in this thread are bullshite. She's not trashy. In 23 years of competition, not once has she failed a drug test, despite being tested at more than twice the rate of other competitors. She's yelled at some refs a few times, big fricking deal. It's behavior that gets lauded if it's a male athlete.
