Kadillak...just looked up my ground elevation for my address and I am at 19.1 feet.

Wow. That elevation saved all the houses in the Nicholson and Burbank corridor. This is unbelievable that EBR is filing a lawsuit today on this and haven’t had this litigated sooner.

So all you’ve told me is you have a lot of debt.
I can afford $1 million dollar house too. I’m just fine in my nice house and don’t worry about keeping up with the Jones’s. I also own other real estate and don’t tell people about what I have and live a pretty modest life.
People that try to flaunt what they have are tacky in my opinion. Congrats on your overpriced house and your “rich” neighbors.

Not sure why EBRP is crying. If there is not a law or no permit is needed for Iberville to use aquadams then there is nothing EBRP can do other than sue, which will end up being a waste of time and money.

Maybe because the neighboring parish is installing an artificial dam designed to force water into their own parish. It’s bullshite.

Actually it would stop Manchac from flowing into Spanish Lake.
Manchac forms the borders between EBR and Ascension and EBR and Iberville thus I’d guess it drains all three Parishes and not just EBR.
I don’t know what the law is, but to say the damn would block EBR water only isn’t correct.
