So I arrive in Baton Rouge the day before the NW state game, hoping to go out for a pint, can anyone tell me a good bar to hit up?

The Chimes is what you’re looking for—atmosphere and good beer.

Just as our players are engaged daily in conditioning drills getting ready for the season, you need to find a local sauna and spend about 30 minutes in it each day for a month or so prior to your trip. That's what you'll feel when you step outside for the first time in Baton Rouge. You will need the extra conditioning come game day. Otherwise, folks may be taking photos with you while you're unconscious.

The Cove best beer selection in town

Port Royale good beer selection and also next door to a waffle house

Churchhills quiet and laid back

The Chimes good beer selection and great game time atmosphere. Dont go to Chimes East. Go to Chimes.

Chimes is always a fun place to eat.

Try Touchdown Village. Tell them it is your first time
