Way too early projections for where Burrow goes in the Draft?

We have to see how this season plays out, but where do you think Burrow will be drafted?

I expect him to go in the 5th round, maybe as early as 3rd round with a terrific season to as low as the 7th round if he has a disappointing year.

What you got?

5th is probably ceiling but could even be a free agent pickup
I don't think his arm strength is good enough to warrant much higher

6th, 7th, or udfa. Not many QB's get drafted.

If he’s not on his back or running for his life all season then yeah maybe so. Hopefully Cregg earns his money this year.

Better question - Does he get drafted higher than Danny Etling?

Our last starting QB has a Super Bowl ring, so who knows?

I was surprised Etling got drafted, but I'd be REALLY surprised if Burrow doesn't go before him.

Middle rounds. NFL will love his football sense, toughness, and moxy.

And I think he's due for a huge mettenberger type jump this year.

He was a 1st year starter last season with a brand new team around him and new OC. If he thrives in the new system I can see him rocket up the draft boards.

At 6'4 and 216 he has prototypical size. He has above average arm strength and good mobility. He has shown mental toughness and leadership qualities. He is competing in the toughest conference in CFB. His mechanics are sound and he has shown the ability to perform under duress.

There's a lot to like about his game and if he does well this year and likely performs well at the combine I can see him around 3rd-4th RD.

I thought he had a great deep ball throw!
The Bama game is the only one that I saw Billy Kilmer throws... 2'nd round to Miami.

He reminds me of Kenny "Snake" Stabler a tough competitor and winner.

I think this is fair. While he has some good physical tools, he doesn't really have the physical attributes of a prototypical NFL quarterback. But he's smart, a great leader and a hard worker. I think an NFL team could find a spot for him.

The question is will GMs see Burrow as a sure fire starter in the next 3 years. If so, he will go in the top 3 rounds. If not, he will go 4th or later.
