I know it's not a big fan favorite but seeing mashers like Alonso and Bell and the fact that they can win themselves some money for a change is pretty awesome. Anyone guessing/betting on who might win? I don't think Bell is my favorite even if betting here says otherwise LINK

Home Run Derby has the best field in years imo, wish Yellich was still in

Biased, but it's sad that Hunter Renfroe isn't in it.

I love the derby and think it should be held in Coors Field with no humidor every year.

If Yelich won the HR derby

Big cat would eat PFTs arse

They had Christian Yelich on their podcast last year before he exploded. I don't remember the exact wording but he said he wanted to win a home run derby one year and Big Kat said they'd eat each others asses if he ever won it. The week after the podcast episode he started smashing the ball

I have a feeling Pederson will be the guy no one is stoked about but will do just enough to hoist the trophy at the end of the night

No, I never have been. It's about as exciting to me as a field goal kicking contest.

I would be a lot more excited about the HR Derby if Yelich, Bellinger, and Trout were participating. Without those three . I might watch, I might not. It's definitely not appointment television for me.
